South Australia skilled migration options:


  1. South Australian Graduates

South Australian graduates who has completed the studies in South Australia may qualify if:

if the nominated occupation is eligible under South Australia's skilled occupation list

currently live and work in South Australia

At least one year during studies must have resided in South Australia 

The course of studies must meet minimum qualifications listed for the nominated occupation and 50% of qualification must have completed in South Australia 

Currently working in job that is related to the nominated occupation

Note: South Australian graduates who has not resided in South Australia continuously, after completing qualification, must work at least 30 hours per week.

South Australian graduates with high GPA has added advantage

 2. Working in South Australia 

Applicants who are working and are currently living in South Australia can qualify if:

if the nominated occupation is eligible under South Australia's skilled occupation list

currently live and work in South Australia 

Meet the min work experience requirements listed on the skilled occupation list 

3. Outer Regional South Australia

Certain work concessions are available for applicants who are contributing to supporting regional South Australia. 

if the nominated occupation is eligible under South Australia's skilled occupation list

currently live and work in outer regional South Australia

Have worked at least 6 months in Outer regional South Australia in any job.Working hours should be at least 30 hours per week

be working in a a high skilled position: Skill Level 1 or 2 and receiving a high salary (at least $65,000) for subclass 190 visa nomination  

Provide a letter of support from the employer

Please note the business must be operating for at least 12 months and the business is in Outer Regional South Australia 

4. Long Term Residents 

Applicants who are long term residents of South Australia and does not qualify under the other nomination stream and not working currently in the nominated occupation.

if the nominated occupation is eligible under long term residents stream on skilled occupation list

currently live and work in  South Australia

Have  resided at least 5 years in South Australia 

Currently working for the past six months in South Australia in any skill level 1,2,3 or Level 4 carer and aide occupation. 

Have at least 12 months total experience in South Australia in any skill level over the past three years. 

During 12 months of work experience, for 491 should have worked 20 hours per week and for 190, must have worked at least 30 hours per week. 

5 offshore

Applicants currently living offshore, may qualify and the invitation are based on the years and field of skilled employment, English language ability and EOI points. 

6. Highly Skilled and Talented 

Applicants who contribute demonstrated talent and/or support innovation in South Australia, can register their interest.
