491 NSW State Requirements
NSW state has released their state requirements. The interested and eligible applicants can register their interest. If invited to apply, apply within 14 days.
The ROI can be lodged during the months of August., October, January and March.
There are three nomination streams for this financial year:
Stream 1: Living and Working in Regional NSW
Applicants need to have a positive skill assessment and the occupation must be listed on the Stream 1 combined occupation list. Applicants need to be living in the designated regional area of NSW and working in the related or closely related occupation for at least in the previous 12 months.
Stream 2: Recently completed study in Regional NSW
Applicants need to hold a valid skill assessment and the occupation must be listed on nominated region's occupation list. Have completed studies or education, where the study was completed within 24 months and the education provider was located in designated regional NSW.
The studies should meet Australian study requirements and the studies completed must be closely related to the nominated occupation. The applicants must have lived in teh designated regional area of NSW while completing their studies.
Stream3: Skilled in an occupation required in regional NSW
Applicants needs have a skill assessment and the occupation appears on the nominated region's occupation list. Applicants must be residing in an Australian state or territory.
